Some very good points by matt and batts. I dont want to go on and on but we were very poor on saturday, the reasons being i think a lot of players are low on confidence at the minute and they are scared of getting a f***ing all the time. Yeah you should get a f***ing when you do something wrong but like Matt said when you do something right you should get a big pat on the back but none of that seems to be happening at the minute. We have got to get saturday's match out of our heads sooner rather than later, what has happened has happened so let's get ready for next week, and also look forward to the barlow cup game on the 11th march that now has got to be our main target and everyone will have to pull there socks up to fight for a place in the starting line up for that game. On a personal note i was very dissapointed with my display on saturday and i will make sure i make up for that sh*t performance in the weeks to come and fight like hell to try and gain as many points as possible and also do my very best to get Honley f.c in to the barlow cup final i can promise you that. Was my goal offside on saturday Batts? ?? Keep smiling club skip and the stunning Matt, the points you made are right but let's get our heads up and fight for some silverwear please. Love you all.

Just read about people giving each other a bollocking on Saturday etc.etc.etc. Tell you what lads its more about having respect for each other and rating each other as players! Why not go out on a Saturday afternoon with your mates for a game of football and enjoy it!? You never know you might start winning again. If you don't want to do that or you don't rate the players around you or you think you are better go to another club and find the standard you are looking for and that is not pointing the finger at anyone!! Beginning of the season everything was rosey what's changed?

I don't think it's as simple as that Browny.
The players start with the best intentions, but the will to win and frustration of not doing so is what leads to frayed tensions.

come on lads, just seen the examiner , theoretically, you are only 2 points off the pace with 6 games to go, a know you've had a dip, but a good run in could still bring silver wear

wasn't there saturday but over last few weeks it has been disappointing,if we could take tuesdays attitude and banter into saturdays and relax a little bit we will be ok..i can't believe that with the quality of the individuals we have in the squad we arn't 20 points clear at the top of the league.if we believed in ourselfs a bit more we will be ok roll on barlow cup

Just been down to the pitch for a bit of fresh air and a 'pre-match day pitch inspection'. Unbelievably it isn't frozen at all. This is probably because it's been sunny all day (although it has just started snowing a bit). If the sun's out again all day tomorrow I think the game will be on, but as it's going to be -6 tonight if the sun's not out tomorrow it'll stay frozen.
Whilst I'm on I'd also like to say that I saw Matt Turner whilst I was down there. He had a pitch roller strapped to his back and was rolling the pitch for tomorrow. What a team player. Fit too.

Well at least if this snow keeps up (and we play with an orange ball) the 'Bicycle' can role a snowman and place him between the pegs. Probably do better than C0ck nose Clough (also know as Bungle).

Snow wasn't a problem. The pitch was frozen underneath.
Bastards.
Let off for Meltham?
