It's what is called a Youth policy for a change!
Nicky Lee is 16 - good prospect banging in goals from all over. Dale Whitely is another youngster who has been impressing at left back/left wing back and Richard Eales has been playing centre midfield and doing a great job. Had 3 other players under 20 starting on Saturday too.
Only problem is we now have too many players! - Lads are turning up only to be told that thay can't get stripped. DS is having to change his style of management to a hatchet man!

Fourth team to act as a youth academy to play in the works league from next season?
Or, to act as a retirement village for the 'commited'?

Nice to see that the Sunday football production line is still spilling out future Honley legends. Nicky Lee's been a regular goal scorer for Honley's Sunday team, the mighty 'Honely Soc' - home ground 'The Pit' (Honley rec to you and me!), for the last couple of seasons. Mixed with and gaining experience from other youth players from Meltham Ath, our little legends (including Mark Rowbottom) are going to lead Honley to West Riding stardom in years to come. You heard it hear first!!!!!!

Great to see the thirds going on a long unbeaten run.
The First are top,
The Seconds are top,
The Thirds are fourth, but moving up rapidly.
Come on!

Yep 4 wins and 3 draws in last 7 games. Playing better each game now we have a settled side. Just need to up the number of goals we're scoring. Don't want to let the other teams down.
