I've been contacted by a company who have offered to run us a fantasy football league competition online. Their website is www.yourffl.co.ukThe cost to enter will be five pounds with the club retaining 40% of the total entry money. Another 50% will make up the prize money for the whole competition, and the company will have the remaining 10%. It could be a good idea to raise funds for the club, and to aid team bonding. If enough people are interested then we'll do it. And could you actually reply to this post, i'm starting to think that no-one reads them.

Had a look at the website and it could be a good idea. I think we would need to go for the £10 entry fee, otherwise i can't see us raising enough money to make it worthwhile. You probably need to have 50 teams entered, which may take some organising - do we have a volunteer for administering it?
Not sure how you get everyone's teamsheets completed. They won't all have access to the website therefore you would have to give them printouts of the players & prices, then enter the data for them once they had picked their team.
You need to ask around at training and get some more feedback.

Nah, we don't have to run anything. I get the entry sheets photocopied, post them to some bloke and he doeas ALL the rest. We just sit back and watch it happen.

Sounds like a good idea but we'll have to get a shift on. If we can get copies down to training on Wednesday we can pass them on to players who aren't there.
Also, we could make the competion open to 'guests' in order to raise the numbers & increase funds?

Got a problem though, now I've finished school I can't get access to a photocopier.

Also the player lists are only online, the bloke hasn't sent me any. We could do with someone printing these off at work.
